Not like UCLA is making it terribly difficult thus far (four turnovers in the first half?), but I've gotta say my Vols are looking pretty decent. We had a few sketchy moments in the first quarter, but I'm seeing improvement. The verdict is still out on our QB though. I'm just not convinced.

How was your football weekend? Any big games? I was so hoping that Appalachian State could pull off another big Michiganesque upset like last year, against LSU, but no such luck.

OK, and we're back to the Vols.

OSU did well this weekend. Jesse was happy.

I saw a commercial for some team called The Ducks. I think from Oregon? I don't know. Anyway I have adopted them as my favorite because their uniforms totally rock.

Yes, Oregon is the Ducks ("are" the Ducks? I'm not sure of the grammar on that one.) That is the same Duck (mascot) who beat the crap out of the Houston Cougar a couple of years ago. I think at first people thought he was just funnin', but he was apparently really pissed off (and got suspended because of it.)
