Yeah, I'd never noticed before, but it did. They had me registered as a Dem, which I did not ever remember specifying either (maybe because I also voted in a Democratic primary?) I have also not gotten anything about it, via mail or phone or whatever. But when I was in the line to actually go vote, and they were checking my address and all, I noticed the sheet had names on it with party affiliation next to them. I didn't care that much, but it could be fodder for nosy people, I suppose. But I think everyone I saw who'd voted on the "G" sheet was registered as a Dem.
