From what I can gather Herculineum is/was a city or town in Italy. It's frequently listed when mentioning other ancient cities or tourist sites like Pompeii or Mt. Vesuvius. It does sound like it should be a chemical or element though, huh? I'd never heard of it before, but evidently, it was going to save me from being turned into a statue. Talk about an alternate reality and time!
