On the tip of my tongue..

Can any of my friends who live in or near Europe, or who have knowledge of things European, tell me what the more familiar term there for "renovation" or "remodeling" is? Last night I was watching Househunters International on HGTV and there was a couple looking for a home in Spain. The realtor said "this house has been totally _______", but I can't remember what the word was, and it's driving me crazy.

I've tried looking on thesaurus.com as well as googling key words to no avail. Yes, this is driving me nuts. Worrying about stuff like this keeps me from going stir crazy worrying about bigger issues.

Oh trust me, I have plenty of much bigger things to worry about. I just let things like this occupy my time so I don't concentrate on the stuff that could truly drive me batty or stress me out. :-)

Why can't you go??? I don't know that I can make it, although I'd love to. Did you see them when they played Knoxville a couple of years ago? Two of my coworkers went and I was sooo jealous.

ok, then i am at least glad that you aren't letting the big stuff get you down.

it's a long story, but to make it short(er), i miiiiiight be able to go (it would take some major maneuvering), but dave definitely will not be going. i am going to mail the tickets overnight to a friend in atlanta tomorrow just hoping he can find someone to go if i can't. if you could go, i could try to go, but you are a couple of hours from here, right? so that makes atlanta a six hour trek for you? UGH. hm. BUT i could drive from here to atl! i would have to return after the show though which um, would be really late, i am guessing. crazy.
i did not get to see them in knoxville which is why i jumped on these tickets. it was really impulsive. i do that sometimes.

ATL is about a five hour drive from here. If I can try to make any sort of not-nonsensical plan, I would love to try and go, but yeah, that whole getting back thing...I'd be coming home at like 6 am. Blah. It's times like this I miss living in Knoxville!!
